EL CIVICS EMPLOYMENT UNIT
The objective is to: “Identify and access employment and training resources needed to apply for a job.
There are three tasks for this assessment.
In Task 1, students will research employment openings in fields related to
job interests by using resources such as “help wanted” ads or the
Internet, and students will create a list of 3 job openings each of which
includes 4 key elements.
There activities in the unit are suggestions only and can be adapted to meet your
students’ specific needs.
