IIELT 2012
IIELT 2012 will be held in and around STU’s Center for Independent Language Learning. Opened in the spring of 2011, CILL is composed of meeting spaces, presentation facilities, language labs, a writing studio and, at its core, an expanding multi-media collection of IT and paper-based language learning resources. CILL provides, to the students and faculty of STU, a dedicated site for both the independent and interactive study of foreign languages and cultures. For IIELT 2012, CILL and the adjacent spaces of STU’s new Library complex will host everything from Registration to Closing Ceremony.
We are bringing together English language researchers and educators interested in learning and utilizing innovative and integrative frameworks, approaches, and tools in the teaching of languages, cultures, and intercultural communication at post-secondary institutions.
IIELT is organized by the English Language Center at Shantou University.
